Roles and responsibilities description

The desired candidate must have good technical skills regarding the platform on which Oracle E-Business Suite resides. Enterprise iAS 10g, Enterprise Linux AS release 4, Oracle database 10g and insightfull knowledge of processes and utilities that are associated with the technology. It is also required that the candidate should have good programming skills in PLSQL.

Programming skills
- Able to write PLSQL code
- Able to analyze existing PLSQL code

Linux and Oracle database skills
- Good knowledge of Linux as operating system
- Good knowledge of Oracle Database and database architecture

Oracle Applikasjon Server skills
- Good knowledge of Oracle Applikasjon Server Architecture
- Insightfull knowledge of processes and utilitues associated with the technology
- Familiar with the concepts SSO, OID, DAS, etc.
- Familiar with the technologies, Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports, Discoverer

Applications specific
-Familiar with HRM applications
-Familiar with Order management applications

Work tasks
-Day-to-day operations/maintenance of Oracle applications - e-Business Suite
-Handling of Servicedesk requests from users
-Handling of failures and application releated issues
-Installing and configuring of Oracle application software
-Cloning of Oracle application environments

Desired Candidate Profile :
