Job Description :

Key Result Areas:
1) Development of software for SCADA Master System (MS Windows /
UNIX / Linux).
2) Development of software for RTU (Remote Terminal Unit, Embedded System) on RTOS.
3) Evaluation of third-party SCADA Master System Software and RTU Software.
4) System Integration and Test.
5) Documentation – Software Requirements Specification and Software Design
documents for Developed Software, Project specific FDS
(Functional Design Specification), FAT (Factory Acceptance
Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) documents.
6) Technical support for problems faced at site.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Educational Qualifications:

B.E. in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology, or MCA
Software Development Experience

No. of years: 1 to 5

Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP/2003, UNIX, Linux, RTOS
Languages: C, C++, VC++ (API / MFC / .NET)
GUI: MS Windows, X/Motif, OpenGL
Communication: Networking (TCP/IP and UDP/IP programming using Socket)
and Serial communication.
RDBMS: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, Ingres
Others: Multitasking / Multithreading, Process / Thread Synchronization,
Date and Time functions, Inter-Process Communication, Shared
Memory, File I/O, Synchronous / Asynchronous completion of I/O
requests, etc.

Other Desirable Experience :
Embedded Systems Programming
Exposure to SCADA systems
Web Technologies
Internet Security (VPN, Firewall, etc)
Mobile Communication (GSM/GPRS, CDMA, etc)
System Administration
Must be 2 years of Projects Experience
