Designation : Application Support Engineer

Job Description :

After an intensive training period, the Client Advisor will be responsible for the following:
resolving customer issues via e-mail or telephone in a timely fashion
providing risk management and P&L analysis to Kiodex’s customers
working closely with the Product Development team to shape the development of the Kiodex Risk Workbench®
preparing ad-hoc reports for management
ad-hoc projects
SunGard Kiodex, Inc. (“Kiodex”), a business unit of SunGard Data Systems, Inc., provides energy-related risk management, analytics, financial reporting, accounting, and regulatory compliance solutions for corporate hedgers and traders.
Kiodex serves a broad spectrum of vertical markets, including banks, hedge funds, corporations and futures commission merchants. Banks, hedge funds and futures commission merchants use Kiodex’s web-based Risk Workbench® platform (the “Risk Workbench”) to measure and manage market price, portfolio risk, and credit exposure for a wide variety of commodities. Corporate customers use the Risk Workbench to design optimal hedging strategies, to reduce hedging costs and to comply with complex derivatives hedge accounting standards such as FAS No. 133 and IAS No. 39.
Kiodex works with 130+ customers in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Indian subcontinent.
The Client Advisor serves as the voice of Kiodex. The Client Advisor also serves as the voice of the customer internally within Kiodex.

Desired Profile :

Superior written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical abilities.
Understanding of financial markets. Understanding of derivative instruments is a plus.
Extraordinary attention to detail and responsiveness.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel® and Microsoft Word®
1 to 5 years of related experience.
