Recruitment for Intern - Internship Program

Internship Program
The Internship Program at EIT is the exclusive fresher recruitment channel. Graduates from premier engineering colleges are offered a 6 month internship to enable them to acquire the skills required for them to be absorbed as a regular employee with acceptable level of productivity. During the internship, interns are paid a stipend and will be deployed on real and live current projects under supervision of ‘best in business’ class of mentors for ‘on the job’ training.

Job Description / Responsibilities :
- Design, develop and test cutting edge high-performance network protocol and security prod ucts on a variety of real time operating systems (RTOS) and a broad range of hardware.

Desired Education & Training Profile of the Candidate:
- Bachelors or Masters Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or Information Technology from nationally ranked Engineering colleges

Desired Skills & Personality :
Skills:-
- RTOS Fundamentals of any RTOS (VxWorks, QNX, Embedded Linux, Lynx, Psos, etc)
- Programming & Scripting Tools C Programming (one year), Python, Perl, TCL/ TK, HTML, SQL
- Concepts OS programming, network programming and database concepts.
- Strong Fundamentals Networking protocol stacks, network security, networking, board support packages, debugging, OS, data structures, programming, computer architecture and compilers.
- Technology TCP/ IP, Layer 2, Routing, Security, hardware acceleration
- OS Unix (at device driver level), Windows NT/ XP/ VISTA (internals, at kernel-level; knowledge of an embedded OS desirable)

Personality
- We are looking for sharp, highly motivated and career oriented individuals with keen interest in developing a career in the embedded networking and security domain.
- Must have strong problem solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intelligent and quick to learn.
