Description :
In this position, you will be developing test plans and executing it to perform silicon validation and/or characterization of next generation high speed serial I/O interfaces on mobile chipsets. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Driving results back into both the silicon design engineering team and the analog signal integrity team to successfully explore and identify design weaknesses associated with next generation, high speed silicon designs
- Performing analog simulations of system level interconnects, system level critical path timing analyses and generating transmission line models
- Using engineering judgment in data analysis to establish the correlation between silicon and simulations

Qualifications :
You should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree with more than two years of experience, a Master of Engineering degree and/or a Master of Technology degree or a Ph.D. in Electronics, Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI), Microwave Engineering, and signal integrity. Additional qualifications include:
- Knowledge and/or experience with high speed lab equipment, HSpice* analog simulation tools would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of PC based system architecture, high speed bus interfaces, and high performance signaling techniques would be an added advantage
