Job Description :
• To work with the development team in building the next generation enterprise banking applications using distributed J2EE technology.
• Reports to the Team Leader
• Responsible for writing J Unit test cases to test the developed code base.
• Liaise with the business team to understand the business requirements and translate it into java code.
Desired Candidate Profile :
• Strong J2EE Web developer with minimum 1-3 years of Enterprise Application Design and Programming Experience.
• The candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• The candidate must have at least 1 year of hands on Java experience.
• Strong hands on experience with J2EE Web technology - HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets and Tag Libraries.
• Strong knowledge of UML and OOAD concepts.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and their usage in a J2EE environment.
• Strong knowledge of presentation Struts framework.
• The candidate must have knowledge of building reusable enterprise frameworks for complex presentation requirements.
• Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of translation technology (XML, XSLT etc).
• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with implementing different delivery channels like Internet, WAP, SMS, IVR, ATM or POS.
• The candidate must have knowledge of RDBMS technology.
• The candidate must have experience on multiple operating systems.
• The candidate must have strong analysis skills, must be willing to work independently as well as in a team environment, must be creative and quick learner.
