Job Description :
This is a unique, full time opportunity for an individual with programming experience and knowledge of networking systems, seeking new challenges and additional responsibility. This position will help the Information Systems Department of a rapidly growing US-based company to develop new programs and tools to automate different aspects of the job.
The successful candidate must have strong client/server programming background (preferably in Microsoft Visual Studio2008, PowerShell, VB Script and Perl), high level understanding of TCP/IP and network protocols, ability to develop programs and scripts with DBI/ODBC connectivity and willingness to pick up new languages and learn new technologies if necessary. General knowledge of common networking technologies such as DHCP, DNS, SMTP, Active Directory, SQL Server and VoIP is essential. Being comfortable working in a UNIX environment and/or having experience with SharePoint Programming is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile :
The successful candidate will have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, a BS in Computer Science or equivalent, excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and outstanding oral and written bilingual language skills (Hindi and English). Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision are a must. As the experience with design and development of robust, proficient, and easy-to-maintain code is critical for this position, candidates will be required to submit examples of their work.
The successful candidate will be part of the Information Systems Department in India and will report to the on-site manager. Depends on the work load, this position may assist in managing the internal, corporate desktops running Windows 2003, Windows XP. This position includes limited opportunity for international travel.
