Job Description :
The QDSP Tools group creates the basic tool set necessary to design, develop, and debug firmware code used in all generations of Qualcomm's QDSP chipsets and cores. Current toolset consists of a C Compiler, preprocessor, assembler, linker, memory extractor, text and GUI simulator/debugger, in-silicon debugging tools, graphical profiler and an RTOS. Required to work closely with QDSP firmware developers.

Responsibilities include:
Design, develop and support QDSP tools
Develop regression test suites for existing and new features
Develop exhaustive documentation for existing and new features
Provide effective customer support to resolve issues and identify areas of improvements in the tools.
Skills/Experience: C/C++ Programming
Assembly Programming
Computer Architecture
Operating Systems concepts
Knowledge of software development practices and methodology
Experience with multi-site software development.
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
