Job Description
1. Production supervision : Should be able to give clear instructions and continuously monitor production. Production process leading to quality finished goods should be followed.
2. Production Planning :
(i) Order wise planning : the candidate has to plan the whole production process for every new order. He should be able to plan raw material requirement, define key activities involved, an action plan to execute these activities and time/date of completion of each activity.
(ii) Day to day planning : should be able to plan day to day tasks. This plan would be reviewed âdailyâ by senior management.
3. Interacting with Buying Houses for labeling, packaging details.
4. The candidate should have good knowledge of leather, fabric, MDF, wood. Knowledge about metals and glass will also be appreciated since some of our products involve metals and glass.
5. Candidates having experience in home dÃcor, hard goods, small furniture (like stools, ottomans, benches), bags, lamps, lamp shades (not necessarily all the categories) will be given priority.
Desired Candidate Profile :
1. Production Supervision, Production Planning, Packaging and Labeling.
2. Handling multiple products/material at the same time.
3. Min. 2 to 3 years experience in production supervision.
4. Experience in the following products will be given priority :
(i) Leather hard goods
(ii) Small furniture like ottoman, stools etc.
(iii) Bags and belts
(iv) Lamps and lamp shades
(v) Home dÃcor
(vi) Office accessories.
5. Experience in handling the following materials will be given priority :
(i) Leather
(ii) Fabric
(iii) MDF
(iv) Wood
