Candidate should have worked in Banking applications. Selected candidates will be given adequate training on the product 'Profile'.
The role involves using Software specifications and Change Request documents as inputs to create and modify programs and program components for the Profile Core Banking application. It would also involve low level design and design of business logic for various functions.

Programming will be in proprietary Profile Scripting Language(PSL) and using M (aka MUMPS), and these are similar to programming in object oriented languages such as Python, Objective C, Perl script, AWK, LISP, C++. Object Oriented programming experience is required in any of the above programming languages.

Experience with using hierarchical high performance databases such as GT.M and related application development environments such as MUMPS is a big plus.

The person would also be expected to primarily play the role of a developer in small to medium sized teams of 5-20 developers. This role involves decision taking on low level design tasks.

Following well defined development processes and experience in working in an agile development environment is preferred.
Experience in Application/Product Support/Maintenance roles would also be a plus.

- Development and Unit Testing activities
- Object oriented Design Low Level
- At middle/senior levels, will lead teams of developers between 5 and 10 people
At middle/senior levels, will create Technical Design Specifications as may be required
